Alam Dania Cottage
This place is AMAZING!!! My boyfriend and I felt like home. Every time we walked in the door we were greeted! My boyfriend and I got up early multiple times and missed breakfast but the owner provided us with breakfast to go. The bathrooms are outside but are kept really clean. No bugs in the room with nets to make sure we have a peaceful sleep. The pool and spa is amazing. Also great food. But the service is incredible. Please stay at Alam Dania Cottage if you can!
Amerta Seminyak
Spent a single night in the Amerta Seminyak with my wife on a recent trip to Bali. We had previously stayed at a hotel nearby charging 4x as much, but considering we wished to spend the time drinking at local watering holes like Ku De Ta, Potato head, etc we didn't see the point in spending big on a hotel we weren't going to spend much time in.
Bali Ayu Hotel
The room was clean, but could have done with a little more cleaning. Towels have most likely not been washed at the right temperature as they resembled a gray white colour rather than white. Bali Ayu Hotel & Villas door had a lock that didn’t make us feel safe leaving our bags there, but had no issues for the two days booked. Didn’t use the pool, but it seemed clean and spacious as there were always people sunbathing we we walked by
Gili One Resort
What amazing stay at Gili One Resort! Once you book family room, everything is private and I like it! Staying here with 2 friends. Close to the turtles point.. thank you for your amazing service and keep up the good work ❤❤❤ will come back here again to stay
Ubud Tropical Garden
Our son, who lives in Bali, has stayed at Ubud Tropical Garden and recommended it to us. I'm glad he did! It has only 15 rooms but it's super clean, well maintained and the staff are really delightful and friendly. All the rooms look at the pool, although (I think) some are near the road which would be noisy. Our garden room was serene and tranquil and looked at the rice paddy nearby. To get around they have a couple of cars and the drivers will take you anywhere you want for a reasonable price. There are a number of great restaurants and bars very close so you don't have to go far. We did a bit of walking but it was very hot. Don't be put off by the price of this place! It's exceptional value.
Desak Putera Cottages
Return customers to this Lovely little hotel with its beautiful peaceful setting. When we arrived, again we were welcomed with another lovely tropical drink. Desak Putu Putera Cottages staff are very helpful and accommodating. Our room was very nice and clean and a good size. Room perfectly cleaned everyday. It is in a good location with plenty of nearby warungs to try out and with a convenient shuttle to drop us off near the Monkey forest or markets.
Villa Capung Mas
We booked the Villa Capung Mas Ubud as a base for our short stay in Ubud. We had lots of tours planned so wanted somewhere comfortable and calm while still being near the hustle and bustle of Ubud. The Villas are a short walk away from the Main Street in Ubud, but the surrounds are very quite. The grounds around the villa are so lovely, lots of lush green plants, and the pool area has lovely views of trees. On our last day, after we checked out, we were allowed to relax by the pool for a few hours until our driver arrived to collect us.
